I would like to share with the world what I believe to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. I will on occasion also rant, guffaw and occasionally mumble audibly but mostly I will share the wonder that is the Lakes Region area of New Hampshire, USA and my small little piece of heaven.

Gorgeous colours in those tree's Prudence.
Holy Crap, Prudence!
My eyes just came (eww!) …
I've been checking back here waiting for you to put the lefties right and this just blew me away.
Beautiful!
Kate, it is beautiful here at this very moment but like most things it will soon fade away.
Dive, I am glad you got one off! I will be back to deffend my side of things but I just don't have it in me right now.. stay tuned.
I will.
And thanks to you I don't need a calendar for next year, I'll simply use these shots.
It's a straight fight between you and Jules as to who lives in the most beautiful place on earth.
Wow! We are so used to green everywhere and a few dots of european deciduous trees that these scenes are simply spectacular Dear P. - thanks so much for showing the glorious country where you live. xxx Mme Benaut xxx
Nice photos
No wonder you are in funk....that kind of beauty is just intoxicating.
The leaves are just barely starting to fall here on the prairie and we are still mowing our lawn. I haven't even put my garden to bed yet...
Lovely, lovely.
Dive, I have checked out Jule's blog once or twice, but that girl sure has the right idea. I might try to become her new best friend and move there myself.
Mme B, yes it is really magnificent. To realize that NH was basically deforested 100 or so years ago, I must say those who lived here and reforested it did a magnificent job!
Rich, thanks but as I said, they aren't mine. Thanks to those who dare to climb!
Maria, the funk isn't from the beauty but I agree. I really must get off my ass and pick my camera up! I think we have one more mow to go but we had the 1st killing frost last night.
We have mostly yellow here. I think the foliage in the East is beautiful.
Pick up your camera.... it's calling you.
There are some perks to living in New England, eh?!
I feel your funk, sista.
Z, I am truly having a battle with myself to get out of bed these days. At least there is something beautiful to look at on the ride to work.
Fresh, would love to be able to join you and Sassy for a beer or 7. Maybe it would pick me up from my funk. Yes there are perks!
Hi there. I googled some of my images and found them on your site. I'm not a professional, so its not a big deal at all; it just would have been nice to have photo credits to mine and the other people's pics, or link to their flickr sites.
Otherwise, I'm glad you liked them. I love NH and can't wait for this fall. Take care.
