This is why I worry so....
I thought I would share some of the proofs of my daughter for her Senior Pictures. I would have picked out the one with the tree but she decided on the black and white one. I also had the woman take one of her and I . I told my daughter it would be a Christmas present for my mom. (maybe it was really for me)

Awww...Thanks Dive. I am diggin the short hair too. So much easier to deal with. Now if I could only find a miracle worker who could do the same cutting and shaping of my fat ass!

Ah, we just went through the senior pictures, too. What an ordeal that can be. I think I would choose the third one here--she looks so natural and happy--but they're all lovely.

I like the black and white one best too. I just think they show more of the person.
I decided when Liv was a baby that all professional pics of her would be in black and white and we now have a whole wall of them. I love them and have garnered more comments from them.
Your daughter looks remarkably like you! Do you like your hair short better than when it was long? I wore my hair in a braid down my back for years and then one day, just chopped it all off in an Audrey Hepburn pixie cut and I LOVE IT. I would NEVER go back to long. How about you?
Robyn, we were fortunate. There is a local mom who does photography as a hobby. So instead of paying the $400.00-$500.00 sitting fee at the local studio it cost $95.00 and I got all the proofs and cd with all the pics and we were done in a 1/2 hr.

Z & Maria, I love the B & W too. I will have more of those pics she didn't choose made into B & W's, they do show better. I do love my hair short. When I was little (6) my hair was down to my butt. My mom kept telling me if I didn’t take care of it and brush it every day she was going to cut it off. Yep, she did! Into a Pixie cut. I remember walking up and down the hill we lived on crying till I ran out of tears. Now, I think it suits me.
These are sweet photos and she's a beautiful girl.
Glad you had your photo taken with her, memories are so important.
